A small cozy town Zaslavl is often called the “satellite” of Minsk. The history of the town is shrouded in legends that still inspire poets. The earth ramparts and bastions of the castle of the XVI-XVII centuries have been preserved in the historical center of the city. The ramparts form an amphitheater and the Transfiguration Church is situated in the center. Another important architectural object of the city is the Mariinsky church of the XVIII century.

Zaslavl is rich in museum expositions: the ethnographic complex “Mlyn” that includes a mill, a cage, a blacksmith shop and an inn, a museum of mythology and forests, a pillbox museum.
