"... The creation of the world is the work of man and his mind. Man himself creates good and evil in the world. And it depends only on people what will prevail on earth: harmony and light or chaos and darkness." These words were prefixed by composer Andrey Petrov to his score.
Together with the author of the music, choreographer, People's Artist of the BSSR, People's Artist of the USSR Valentin Elizariev, artist Evgeny Lysyk, conductor L. Ballet dancers and performers turn to us, invade our existence with eternal and always restless thoughts about the purpose of human life, about the human right to happiness, about serving people.
And this is not a declaration, not a statement of important theses, but a vivid, vivid, multi-valued figurative reality of the play. The ballet responds to the most important problem of our time – it protests against the threat of war, praises the power of man and the eternal power of motherhood. This significant content is embodied in the polyphonic interaction of musical, pictorial and choreographic themes of the ballet.
