"Warsaw Melody"

Anton Vasiliev and Marina Alexandrova in a play about love and duty.
Post-war Moscow. Chance brings together a Polish conservatory student, Gela, and Victor, a future winemaker who went through the war. Despite the difference in their views and interests, two young people fall in love with each other. Their love story, which began in 1946, will stretch over two decades. The heroes' path to happiness will be blocked first by the state, which has banned marriages with foreigners, and then by personal ambitions and a difficult choice between duty and feeling.
