The monument is in the form of the temple, which outlines the basis for the original appearance of the church of Euphrosyne Polotskaya is laid, such as it was in the XI century. Inside there are four altar carved with the names of 771 dead Afghan soldiers. The inner surface of the walls of the monument and its dome is painted with biblical scenes. It also shows the archangels Michael and Gabriel, was the patron of the Belarusian army from the time of the Battle of Grunwald. In the center of the temple there is a holy place. Here lays the soil of Afghan land, washed by the blood of our soldiers. The five bells attached to metal strings are humming in the wind.
One more element of the memorial is the figure of a guardian angel crying. Conceived as a memorial to soldiers killed in Afghanistan (and there was fighting around 30,000 Belarusians), it has become a monument to the sons and daughters of Belarus, who died in a foreign land in the battles of all time.
