Today Minsk Railway Station is one of the capital’s architectural landmarks. This tremendous railway station complex will capture anyone’s attention due to its outstanding architectural style. Opposite the station there are 11-storey twin towers. This group of buildings reminding of medieval castles’ defensive towers was named “the City Gate”. The walls are richly decorated with plasterwork and sculptures. On one of the towers the largest clock in Belarus is located. It was taken from Germany as a trophy.
