Presentation of the tourism potential of Minsk in Moscow
From August 21 to 23, the "Minsk Holidays" were vividly held in Moscow at VDNH, in Pavilion No. 18 "Republic of Belarus". They included presentations of the tourism potential of the capital of Belarus through the exhibition placement of tourist operators, hotels, tourist facilities, an information and tourist center, as well as through tastings, master classes, and quizzes.
The organizer of this event was the State Institution "Infotourcenter Minsk". Over the course of three days, we enthusiastically talked about what makes Minsk especially attractive today. Historical and cultural, event, gastronomic tourism: all this is about the possibilities of recreation in the Belarusian capital.
Right at the VDNKH site, it was possible to book any excursion of interest, get directions around the city, learn about the sights and national cuisine, about accommodation facilities and decide on promising offers.
A traditional Belarusian hut became part of the Minsk exposition. It is decorated with ancient elements of everyday life. And here, master classes in the traditional decorative and applied art "vytinanka" were held daily for young Muscovites.
The mood for the "Minsk Holidays" was created by the soloists of the M.J. Finberg Orchestra and the G.I. Tsitovich Folk Choir. Well-known and beloved songs about Belarus were played. By the way, they could be performed together with the artists by taking part in the karaoke "Let's sing together".
In parallel with the main program, business negotiations were held with travel operators and hotels. This suggests that the Minsk Days in Moscow have already become a large-scale and effective event in the two capitals.
We can confidently state that Muscovites and guests of the Russian capital have managed to plunge into the atmosphere of the Belarusian capital and see its tourism potential in all its glory!
We would like to thank all the visitors of the Belarusian pavilion at VDNH and look forward to seeing you again!
