"Artha" Art Gallery presents an exhibition of paintings by Vladimir Gladkov "Between heaven and Earth".
The exhibition includes works of several genres: portrait, still life and genre landscape. The geography of the countries represented in the works is pleasantly surprising: Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Greece, Turkey, Holland, Italy, China. This diversity is explained by the artist's desire for travel, knowledge and new discoveries. Like any passionate person, the artist strives to see the world in all its manifestations, and then share his vision through paintings. The viewer has the opportunity to get to know themselves or the prototype of acquaintances in everyday scenes in their native spaces, as well as immerse themselves in the wonderful world of oriental motifs or stroll along the streets of European cities with the author.
The paintings of the artist with his gentle restraint, peculiar color and subtle lyricism cannot be confused with the works of other masters. The creative formation of the painter and graphic artist took place on the rich history and color contrasts of the land of Uzbekistan. In his works, Vladimir Gladkov remains committed to national traditions, revealing the vibrant identity of the East in his works. The author organically combines the traditions of the European art school, based on academic principles in drawing and painting, with philosophical generalization and symbolism, as well as with a unique oriental flavor.
