“Ivan Fiatsisay. Malaunichy navely”

On August 21, the temporary exhibition "Ivan Fetisov. Pictorial novels", dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of the artist, teacher, Honored Worker of Culture of the BSSR, participant of the Great Patriotic War Ivan Yakovlevich Fetisov.
The exhibition will include about 30 paintings by the artist from the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the Brest Regional Museum of Local Lore, and the collection of the master's family, created in the 1950s and 1990s. Personal belongings of Ivan Yakovlevich Fetisov, letters and photographs from the family archive will also be presented. The genre range of the works covers portrait, landscape, story-themed painting. The painter's work occupies a special place in Belarusian painting of the second half of the 20th century due to the combination of realistic tradition and subtle psychology.
